TANGO HOLIDAY IN TUSCANY
Goethe already knew: Tuscany is not in Italy, but Italy is in Tuscany. For centuries, the Italian region has been a place of longing for many people - and rightly so! Therefore, experience a wonderful week of tango with Felix and Silvana in a quiet hotel that is only 25 km away from the Tuscan capital Florence. You will spend your time dancing a lot of tango, relaxing, enjoying delicious organic food, tasting local wine and discovering other delicacies of the region.
The Besançon family has been running the Locanda and farm according to organic farming principles since 1988. Grapes and olives grow around the farm, and wine, olive oil, herbs and vegetables from their own cultivation are served in the restaurant. Hotel rooms have been reserved for participants at the "Locanda Casanuova": The cosy double and single rooms are furnished in authentic Tuscan country house style and are stylishly complemented by modern accessories. The double rooms have private bathrooms with shower, the single rooms can be booked with shared bathroom or private bathroom. Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas (e.g. the library), but not in the rooms. We can say from our own experience: it makes the holiday much more relaxed.

Buenos Aires: Dancing in the metropolis of tango
Despite the Corona period, Naschke Entertainment GmbH can make the dream of all tango dancers come true for you: a tango trip to Buenos Aires, the birthplace of tango! The special feature besides the destination is the flexibility: you don't have to book immediately, but can register up to 14 days before the start of the trip and decide almost spontaneously.
On most transatlantic flights, you land in Buenos Aires early in the morning. Lufthansa currently flies from Berlin via Frankfurt to the Argentine capital - you take off in the evening around 8 pm and arrive the next morning at 8 am. A shuttle service will pick you up at the airport and take you to your flat. You will be staying in the most attractive part of Buenos Aires, Palermo. Palermo has the best cafés and restaurants, the most beautiful parks and the most impressive buildings. Most of the milongas also take place in Palermo.
Our apartment building employs its own security service; access for tenants is via electronic facial recognition. All flats are modern and individually furnished and have air conditioning. An own kitchen is integrated, the bathrooms are equipped with shower / WC, all flats have a balcony. The orientation of the apartments extends in all four directions. Depending on the flat location, you can enjoy a view of the Rio de la Plata or a beautiful sunset over the city. Thanks to the good sound insulation, you sleep very well even in Buenos Aires - a metropolis that never rests - and wake up refreshed the next morning.
On the 31st floor is the dance hall where our classes are held. Also on the 31st floor there is a spacious fitness centre with sauna and whirlpool. The house also has a very beautiful and large pool.
This place is just perfect for a wonderful tango holiday in Buenos Aires! The programme during your one-week stay is full of highlights, so every day is an experience. Of course, it is also possible to stay longer than one week. Our recommendation: Allow yourself at least 14 days in Buenos Aires to enjoy the capital of the tango in all its facets.

TANGO-WOCHENENDE in NEUZELLE mit Felix & Judith
Experience a wonderful tango weekend with Felix and Judith in Felix's home town. Neuzelle is a small, dreamy village in the south-east of Brandenburg in the Spree-Oder district. From Berlin, Neuzelle can be reached by car in about 1.5 hours, and by train it takes about 2.5 hours by regional train and regional express. The Polish border is only a few kilometres away, you can walk to the Oder, the border river to Poland, in less than an hour. The village of Neuzelle can look back on many centuries of history: its name derives from the Neuzelle Monastery, which was called Nova Cella in Latin. Today, many still know and appreciate the "Black Abbot", a black beer from the Neuzelle monastery brewery. Many erratic blocks bear witness to the last ice age, including one of the heaviest in Germany weighing about 300 tonnes.
During our tango weekend there is a culturally and scenically attractive programme: we take part in guided tours through the monastery and the two churches belonging to it (Catholic St. Marien, Protestant the Church of the Holy Cross). We also walk through the orangery with its magnificent baroque garden and visit the monastery brewery, which has been in existence since 1589. Walks in the Pheasant Forest and to the Oder meadows round off the weekend - which is, of course, dominated by a lot of tango.
We stay directly in the centre of Neuzelle, namely in the Landhaushotel Prinz Albrecht, where modern and comfortable rooms with shower/bathtub, TV and internet await us. The hotel is not far from the monastery and is close to the magnificent dance hall where we spend the courses and the dance evenings. All places are therefore within quick walking distance.

What I really appreciate about Felix is that his lessons are professionally structured and built up and that Felix is very good at grasping his dancers' skills and encouraging them in a targetedway. He not only shows the clean technique, but also anchors it through repeated consciously conveyed information on the respective learning topic. Through the targeted repetition of the practice of the technique in connection with the awareness of it, the learned material is anchored extremely well. I also appreciate Felix's respect for each individual and his sense of humour.

Felix's teaching is very precise, athletic, musical and uplifting. Tango dreams in Buenos Aires
On 31.01.2020 we started our first tango trip to Buenos Aires, the capital of tango. After a 14-hour flight, we were warmly welcomed by Felix in front of the airport. Another 30 minutes by car and we reached our accommodation, a 31-storey apartment building in the heart of Palermo, not far from the beautiful parks that characterise this part of the city.
Even from the outside, the complex is remarkable, there are wonderful green areas, a large pool and a very appealing entrance area. We were speechless for a moment when we entered the penthouse on the 29th floor, which extended over two floors and offered a fantastic view of the city. The furnishings were perfect, on
the table there was a fruit bowl and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Everything was furnished very lovingly and with great care.
We didn't have much time to linger in these beautiful rooms because the first lesson with Felix and Silvana already started at 1 pm. The place was a beautiful dance room on the 31st floor with another fantastic view over the city. We got to know the other guests and were already looking forward to a wonderful time together. From now on, we had two hours of classes a day with Felix and Silvana and we learned a lot about posture, rhythm and movement sequences. And of course there was also a lot of laughter.
On the evening of the first day, we had to attend the first milonga. At a late or rather early hour, Felix and Silvana showed their skills in a show, which aroused great enthusiasm. Over the course of the next few nights, we visited various milongas in Buenos Aires and we understood that tango is danced differently in Buenos Aires than at home, even if the steps are the same. We felt the soul of the dance, the deep connection of the people with the music and that is probably the difficult thing about tango. You can learn it, but you can only dance it properly if you take your time to explore its depth.
Besides the tango, the tourist programme was not neglected. We went out to eat together and visited important places in Buenos Aires, such as Recoletta and La Bocca. We had a lot of fun on a boat trip through the delta of the Tigre. All these events made the group a community and I very much hope that the contacts will continue.
A highlight of the trip was the dinner on the last day. We dined sumptuously in a very family-run restaurant and had very stimulating conversations about the impressions of the past days. It was a magical trip with lots of tango, we were able to experience a wonderful city and met very warm-hearted people.
A big thank you to Felix, who prepared and carried out this trip so professionally and was there for us at all times, giving us a feeling of security in Buenos Aires. Thanks also to Silvana, of course, who put up with our not always convincing dance performances with great patience and gave us many valuable tips. And thanks to you, dear Dorothe, Christiane and Laszlo, for the wonderful hours we were able to spend together.
